i dont like that the songs are being judged for being too long... i actually prefer the last 3 minutes of 'Mirror' than the first 5 minutes!!
i hope the album sound good to me... Mirror really let my hopes rise !!
I'm waiting for the deluxe tracks to decide which edition I'm gonna buy.
Sometimes an album sounds like a whole work of art and then they throw in two extra songs as "bonus tracks" that don't fit in with the body of the record. Hopefully the bonus tracks feel as "part of the album" as the rest of the songs.
The album is like a good mixture of Bey's 4, X's Back to Basics and his very own FS/LS...a very good throwback/futuristic album! I don't know how to put it....guess that makes it extra special!

I think its more of a mixture of Bey's 4, Gwen's The Sweet Escape, Britney's In The Zone, & both of his previous works FS/LS & Justified.
Different strokes, I guess.
I can't even choose standouts, it's so consistent overall.
