What was Miguel's Grammy boost for his album?

And neither is the little total lead he has over Miguel.
My point is, Frank had bigger exposure that night, but it was Miguel who got the acclaim and the bigger boost that night. And Miguel has been outselling him for almost a month.
Frank ain't nothing but hype, and the public is seeing that.

Two albums does not a prince make.
Longevity should play into it as well, and a really good artist can disappear after two albums...

The impact will eventually lose momentum...

But like seriously, if you are trying to discredit Frank, at least try to do it with someone other than Miguel, cause he's got nothing on him whatsoever.
Prince of R&B is Usher for me. Now bye.

And just because you like "unique" artists doesn't mean you're some music connoisseur. Now go and stan for a Pitchfork-loved album.

Actually Frank has done no promo in the UK to MY knowledge other than appearing in The Guardian and going on the BRIT Awards, so the fact that he has a Gold selling album in the UK is pretty good. Didn't Chris do a worldwide tour and Fortune still hasn't seen any certifications to show for it at all? KI.

They're all coming back this year though. JT and Lily still have high demand and make good music..Kate Nash(I'm assuming that's her anyway) is a different story though.

you tried
anyway:
Fortune flopped WW, but CO didn't? Sis, Fortune has better charts than CO globally that indicates it sold more in the majority of the countries CO charted in.
Flop album or not, they're close in sales

#Dead at you not realizing that an album sales don't cease at just one certification. it hasn't just sold 500,000 in america. it sold 520,709. Chile you forgot to add canada ... u tried tho.

Receipts- Frank Ocean even before releasing his debut album has wrote for countless other artist .(Beyonce, Brandy, Jay Z)
- Channel Orange manage to sell Gold being when the other R&B dudes can't see copper .(Check the states, Chris Brown, Trey, and Miguel all sold considerably less than Frank)
- He earned two grammys immediately.
In world where all R&B is barely selling albums and R&B the genre is completely diluted---can't we Crown Frank the new prince.

I guess I'll have to spell it out for you. Maurice is banned from the UK ( ) so I think he's okay with his #1 album. He didn't do a "WW Tour"... He did a few dates in sold out arenas and that was it. And with that logic, are the fans at Frank's theater tours picking up CO? "Ki"

You must not be using your head today.
That screen-cap is obviously from Wiki, which I'm obviously basing CO's sales off of the certifications posted there alone.
Do you see Canada there? Right, you don't. You only see the four countries there.
Use some common sense before posting, because your irritations are blocking your better judgement.

Yes the fans from the sold out theater tours have supported Channel Orange, I cannot however say the same for Fortune, it's good to see that Chris can sell out arenas but cannot move albums.

Actually, it's Róisín Murphy...
But, I see what you're saying. We'll have to see if Frank's next album (whenever he plans to release it) fairs well...
