Little Mix have sent fans into a frenzy after a casual tweet sparked rumours of a potential collaboration with Miley Cyrus.
The four-piece girl-group have enjoyed a successful 12-months after becoming the first band to claim the X Factor crown in 2011, with debut album DNA spawning a string of hits following its release in November.
Band members Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Ann and Jade have now set their sights on emulating the meteoric success of One Direction by cracking America – and their first move when they touch down in the US later this year will be a visit to Miley.
In a tweet posted over the weekend, the group admitted they couldn't wait to hook up with the former Hannah Montana star.
“Hey @MileyCyrus! Hope ur good We can't wait to come to America for the first time...hopefully we'll get to meet u soon! Little Mix xxx,” they wrote.

Today has been a nice day as far as news goes. I still can't at her song with Diplo being "massive." I really want this to be her best album yet and it honestly seems like it's shaping up to be. But let me knock on wood.
