I have heard the original and one of the things I love most about the cover is how they worked the song into their discography so well. It really sounds like it belongs.
But I still don't think of it as a clone.

I love the bridge so much. The violins that just SWEEP in and carry Louis' voice, only to disappear when he's finished and then re-appear again for the final chorus accompanied by the ad-libs and guitar... I'm so in love with their music because I find the composition so interesting beyond the surface.
