CMB is more of an album track, imo. Even People Like Us isn't catchy enough. The instrumental is just boring and her vocals way too autotuned.

Kelly's studio vocals have never been the problem. And she certainly doesn't need to take notes from Demi.

What she needs are better producers to make the music itself feel fresher and less of karoake sounding mess she has to sing over. It's not even about the genre anymore, because the pop-rock music since AIEW to now sound like they're pre-made off some computer instead of real recorded instruments.

No, what Kelly needs to do is stop accepting random ass songs that she didn't write from producers A, B, C & D. And actually collaborate with these people and make music from scratch. I'm tired of these premade songs that she just lays down vocals for.

That's what she did with CMB and Get Up and the stans were split. She just needs to work with better writers and producers. She can't make magic all by herself and someone else can't really make magic for her. Her best efforts were always a collaboration.

No, she worked with the no-talent-hack, Jason Halbert on CMB and Get Up was a H.A.M. for a football team.

I said she needs to collaborate with these producers/writers. She should work with Luke, Max, Gad, Benson and Kurstin, sit down and write a song with an acclaimed pop-songwriter like Adele, Taylor, Mariah, Bruno.

Learn from them and grow. Working with her stale ass bandmates isn't gonna help.

When have any of these people ever written with another artist?

I do wish the label would pair her with one or two production/writing teams so she can work with them on one album of all new material as opposed to working a with a bunch of producers on songs coming from every direction, but I doubt they would ever do that.

The closest thing we have to getting Kelly to work with other artists is Sia proclaiming she loves Kelly on twitter a week or two ago back and Miguel saying he's ready to collab. I think that would be a great starting point for her. And let's lose Kurstin. I'm so SICK of him. Thanks for WDKY but Luke >
