SONY GRAMMY BUMPS: With iTunes overnights in for Sony artists, comparing Saturday and Sunday post-Grammy sales bumps, Mumford & Sons and Justin Timberlake were the big winners on the album and singles side, respectively. Best Album winner Babel was up a whopping 350%, followed by Sigh No More (+142%), Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away (+250%), Alabama Shakes’ Boys & Girls (+311%), Miguel’s Kaleidoscope Dream (+854%) and Jack White’s Blunderbuss (+792%). On the singles side, Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” was up 288%, followed by Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” (+97%), Underwood’s “Two Black Cadillacs” (+88%) and “Blown Away” (+341%), P!nk’s “Try” (+77%), Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” (+379%), Miguel’s “Adorn” (+920%) and the remix with Wiz Khalifa (+3114%) and Miranda Lambert’s “Over You” (+570%). Some of the huge increases represent a fairly small sample size, but you get the idea. We’ll get you the UMG and WMG figures when our crack retail department crunches the numbers.

Stronger didn't get huge boost cause everyone who doesn't hate songs like this has already bought it.

A few comments to the Grammys:

1) I so much hate Kelly's dress she wore when she got the Grammy. It is not flattering at all. She looked fat (sorry, Kelly). Why she didn't wore the purple dress?

2) The way she walked to the stage when she won and her speech, they are priceless and epic. They were hilarious.

3) I wish she held the mic during her performance in the other hand so her ring would shine right to the camera.

4) I wanna know what she told Katy.

5) Who was the man she hugged right after she had won? The man who sat right behind her.

6) KellyBrandon kiss.

7) Adele giving Kelly standing ovation while chewing gum.

8) The way Kelly supported everybody who won categories she was nominated in. Such a humble queen.

I sorta wished Kelly mentioned Florence during her speech. She only talked about fun. and Adele and she's covered Shake It Off at all her summer concerts, no?

She probably first told John Mayer he looks good in her country slang (or maybe she was requesting a duet

) before he said "You look fantastic". Then she probably went to Katy to say she's lucky or good for her..something along those lines. But that's just my guess.

I don't think so. I think she only covered that song to the show I went to in Holmdel, NJ.

She only covered it once. BUT she did cover Heavy In Your Arms every night during the entire first leg of the tour. But yeah, I agree. It would have been a sweet moment if she had mentioned Florence and maybe said how she's covered all of them before. Florence, Adele, Fun And Pink. (I don't think she's covered Maroon 5).

She was just so damn flustered and cute lol.

I absolutely love that the crowd cheered when she transitioned into Natural Woman. Her cover of NW on Idol is so iconic in my opinion and I loved the new rendition of it. Can't stop listening to it.

Annoyed we only see Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and Adele at the end.

I just watched Kelly's speech for the 100th time and I realized she ignored Beyonce who was standing and clapping for her, and ran to hug Miranda Lambert. Blake Shelton was trying to give her a hug but she ran to the stage, and it looked like the girl from big bang theory wanted to give her a hug as well.

I doubt Bey or the random girl from Big Bang were expecting Kelly to stop and hug them on her way to get an award. It's understandable. Beyonce knows what it's like to be caught in a moment and not really pay attention to what's around you.
