It will be interesting to see which route she is going to follow, the Madonna one, releasing pop music like she's in her 20s or 30s or will she open up to a more AC sound? The younger generations will soon move on from Britney, it's sad but it's the truth.

That french album / limited release tha tsold more than "FF" (an album where Britney didn't even give her 30% as an artist), was actually the first time that Celine has outsold Britney since 1999. So we just can't resume everything into that.

for example:

"Taking chances" sold less than "Circus".

and basically all of her albums sold less than Britney's during the 00s.

She doesn't have hits in years.

etc.


she is not a hasbeen but she is definately not nearly as relevant as the highest paid female musician of 2012 Britney Spears.

There's a big difference with "right to an opinion' versus "entitlement to an opinion".

Most is a stretch. Most stans thought the song wasn't groundbreaking. Anyone who says it's going to flop because it's not groundbreaking digged themselves into a hole because those who thought their assumptions the correct path the song is going to take forgot to account the power of casual fans and that music taste has always been subjective.

I don't care about how much money she's earning and whatnot either since she's already rich as hell and it doesn't affect me in the slightest. Why can't her team understand that she is NOT the type to draw Vegas goers in like the other headliners? It's like they live under a fricken rock. I can not, I could easily see the show doing well in the first few days/weeks because it's Britney and then flopping after the hype wears off.

And both the tour and album will end up bombing.

Taking Chances was released in 2007 a few weeks after Blackout,and it sold more than it. Celine hasn't had another album since. So, no...this is her second time outselling Britney.

And won't be the last....Round #3 in 2013
