I can see S&S being like Some Nights by fun. or Home by Phillip Phillips lingering in the iTunes Top 10 for AGES and no one having an idea where the hell these sales are coming from after the song already peaked on radio and was released ages ago.

Some Nights already crossed 4 million and Home is about to. Don't be too shocked if S&S does it.

Look at all the 4 million sellers from last year. "Starships", "What Makes You Beautiful", "Stronger", and "One More Night"...none of these songs had any huge sales week. They sold through consistency via airplay. S&S will do the same. I think it'll be right around 4 million by the end of the year in the US.

& "S&S" isn't "barely" top 4 right now, lol. It's been holding steady in the Top 5 for almost 2 MONTHS. It's clearly loved by the public and won't be going anywhere.

No one said it would sell 4-5 million. It needs to sell over 3.3 million to become her bestseller. That number is within reach, It will continue to sell consistently as its airplay and streaming grow.

lol, no song sells 4 million in 2 months. What I meant by that was "S&S" will be around in a big way for the next 2 months aka Top 5. And then it'll keep selling well for a long time afterwards.

Err, last I checked I was not the one saying it would be around in a big way for the next two months... And if you're the top seller for that spam when you're already at around 1.5 million, you do get to 4 million.
