I mean people to this day still imitate her when they try to sign her songs. The songs that I listed are timeless classics and to say they aren't is the biggest lie, not delusion but flat our blatant lie.

I said Britney won more awards and that's fact
For the last time Britney has been bigger since 1998 and it will always be that way.
Your singing show thing is getting old
I guess Kelly Clarkson is bigger than Britney because people sing her songs more
Britney has plenty of classics
Just stop it. Your delusion is killing me.

You just gave me a bunch of theories, not facts. Everyone is different. My parents don't know who Britney Spears is but they know Mariah Carey, does that make them the general public? What type of desperate attempt are you trying?
Most old people know BOMT? You don't say. Actually, why would people over 45-50+ bop to bubble gum pop when Mariah was making Adult Contemporary songs? In reality, Mariah's biggest market audience is those that are adults. I would understand if you meant young kids, but old people? You just berried yourself without little lie.

I detect lies.
There's no way in HELL you're mother doesn't know a Mariah song. She was THE biggest artist in the 90's.
I swear you're lying because every generation can name a Mariah #1. early 90's has Vision of Love, Emotions, Dreamlover, Hero, late 90's has One Sweet Day, Fantasy, Honey, Heartbreaker, 2000's can name We Belong Together and Touch My Body. You tried it tho.
What even are Britney's 4 #1's?

Even though it was her breakdown it was still more successful than any Mariah era's in the 2000's except for TEOM
Music Box is actually one of her worst in the 90's
Irrelevant awards? LOL! You're just mad because Britney won more awards. And yes, a video vanguard award is irrelevant.

Mariah won the major awards such as Billboard's artist of the decade, artist of the millennium, 11+ Billboard awards, 5 Grammys, VMAs, etc. No one is here for Teen Choice awards or other awards that aren't the staple to the music industry. By the way, awards aren't what makes you bigger, its the sales, impact, influence, etc.
Its getting old because its true and correctly portrays my point while you fail trying to prove whatever it is that you're proving. Stop going off topic, this has nothing to do with Kelly. No one said voice is what makes you the bigger star, all I said was her songs are iconic and memorable because they are still sung and performed today even though its been over 2 decades.
You say that but you aren't able to prove them. No one is here for your mythical theories and stories when you aren't able to prove any of the things you just said. Delusion at its finest, its okay I'll help you get through the dark moments in life.

In the 2000's Mariah was like 15 years into her career while Britney wasn't even close. You can't compare Britney's 5 year old career to that of Mariah's. Of course a newer artist is going to be more exposed than an artist in her 30's. But Mariah still managed to get her song to be named song of the decade...

What personality ?
Mariah is a much bigger World Wide Star and has always been a cosistent live vocalist.

Not as hopeless as you who don't understand what the word "iconic" means and cannot, to save their lives, tell me why her songs are iconic or classics. Words are words, facts are facts.
Once and for all.
Sales: Mariah
Impact: Mariah
Influence: Mariah
Awards: Mariah (no one is here for Teen Choice awards and such, I'm talking about major representative awards)
Talent: Mariah
Longevity: Mariah
Timeless, undisputed, classics = Mariah
I mean, you can like whoever you want and enjoy whatever you want but please stop mixing things up and just randomly saying things without proving them.
I'm out.

YOU WERE BORN AFTER THE 90'S. YOU CANNOT SPEAK ABOUT AN ARTIST'S LEGACY IF YOU WEREN'T EVEN AROUND TO SEE THE IMPACT.
One Sweet Day remains unbothered as the longest running #1 song in billboard history.
