I've not seen the original either so I'm going to wait until I've seen the remake to watch it just in case it does spoil the remake...

And I've just finished watching Cold Prey II... it's really good It's on the same level as the original tbh... although I kinda wish the deaths were spread out a bit more... it was like half an hour before the first kill happened. The 3rd one has nothing to do with these people as it's a prequel so I'm not really in a rush to watch that one... I do hope that America remakes these films though as they are good

I think the stroyline is going to be slighty different for the remake of the evil dead. The main character isn't even there and i rhink it might have an different ending, since it could be a little boring then for the ones who saw the original one already.

Yes, I prefer modern horror movies as well. I do like some classics like Halloween and stuff like that. But you are right, pretty much every big horror movies from past 2000 will have a remake eventually.

I watched Prianha 3DD. That movie is so bad. And there's a scene where some chick randomly gets a prianha in her vagina, and it bites some guys penis. I think I just got gayer.

I have a feeling the film will either start or end with the scene thats used on the poster... they could start with that scene then go back and show what happened or thats how the film will end... with her staggering down the road

Sony Pictures has shifted Carrie from a March 15, 2013 release date to October 18, 2013, just in time for Halloween. Director Kimberly Peirce's horror remake starring Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore will go up against Relativity's Malavita and Warner Bros.' The Seventh Son this October.

The studio has also pushed No Good Deed out of its October 18, 2013 release slot, scheduling the thriller starring Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson for release on January 17, 2014. It will now square off against the Universal Pictures comedy Ride Along.

Lastly, Sony has made a minor release date adjustment to The Monuments Men, starring George Clooney and Daniel Craig. It will now open on December 18, 2013, instead of December 20, 2013. No other movies are currently scheduled for release on that mid-December Wednesday, but that Friday is already packed with new releases. Last Vegas, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, Saving Mr. Banks, and Walking with Dinosaurs 3D will hit theaters on December 20.

There are other horror films set to come out this year but we either don't have trailers for them yet or I couldn't be arsed searching for the trailers as they probably aren't going to be that good
