I don't get you now... You just said she was local and then that she had a huge impact in South America. Being local in the US means only being succesful and famous in the US which she's not since she's famous and successful in South America.

People often see non-local = being successful in Europe. And unfortunately Demi is not successful in Europe. There's a difference between being local and international Being international means being known in many different places around the world and being local means being known in only one place.
