Plus the public responded more positively towards Gaga when the press was releasing articles on her weight and on the Madonna feud anyway. It showed the media's interest in Gaga's celebrity and the public responded more positively toward Gaga

Meh, I don't see why any of it should matter. The GP/relevance arguement on ATRL is one of the most stupid IMO. It's just a negativity battle and it's kinda stupid. People need to realize that she's not always going to be the top star. There are going to be times where Gaga is going to flop even harder than she did with Born This Way, which wasn't even that big of a flop in the first place.

For example, Angelina hasn't had a movie out in forever yet she's the most talked about actress according to Google Trends since forever now. Madonna only truly reigned as the #1 star during True Blue. Yet both managed to have longevity, which is by far the most important thing in this industry. Time will tell who the top star of this generation will turn out to be.
