Girlfriend, the depressing event occurring in a desolate place is not some new idea. Lana didn't invent it.
It's like the idea of people breaking mirrors while looking at themselves or a person cutting their hair to show some kind of emotional distress. Just because you see 2 occurrences of it in one year does not mean that the 2nd occurrence was inspired by the other.
