Actually you chose the worst one to watch. PA 3 and 4 are a bit better.

And if you liked Martyr I can recommend High tension(aka Switchblade romance) Inside and Frontiers.
They're all French and very gory.

Don't give up on the series just yet. PA2 is the worst. I agree, it's boring as hell. Third is my favourite, scared the sh*t out of my.
Disappointed in the ending tho.

I've seen those too. They're really good. I love French horror. They're very extreme.

Yes I loved them.
They effects are amazing.I think the graphic violence looked pretty damn realistic.
The scene in Frontiers where the girl pushes the guy on the switchblade looked extreme

I looove Haute Tension, that movie blew my mind out of the water. I spent forever trying to find that movie online, and as soon as I buy it on DVD, then its everywhere, lol

The movie definitly did the title justice.
It had me on the edge of my seat a couple of times.
Sure it has some plotholes but it's not like a perfect story is the key to a good horror movie

I had to actually look that movie up, cause at the end I was like "WTF". :laugh

I like horror films that have a good plot and story, it makes it more believable. I can't do nothing but blood and gore, anymore. Saw messed that up for me
