And the **** takes forever to melt once it's swept to the side of the street. It's an eyesore and very depressing.

They shovel it off the roads onto sidewalks here, which means its basically impossible to walk anywhere.

And thats if they clear your road. Usually resdiential streets are left to last, so sometimes you can't even drive anywhere.

All completely avoided if it didn't snow at all.

The situation in Egypt is getting scary again. I'm still determined to go there in the spring, but I might have to alter my plans to avoid the violent demostrations.

I originally wanted to stay in downtown Cairo, but considering thats where all the protests are happening, I might instead opt for a hotel in Giza or even Garden City.

Or maybe all this will cool off by April. I've been looking forward to this for a long long time.
