In summary, Kelly should collect at least 2-3 Billboard Year-End Radio #1s for 2012 (US Hot AC, Canada Hot AC +/- US AC), making it her second year achieving a Year-End Radio #1 (2005 was her first year). IMO, achieving a Year-End #1 is far more impressive than achieving a #1 during the year, because it speaks to the song's longevity and connection with the public. Not only is achieving any radio Year-End #1 quite an achievement for an artist, but also to do so for more than one year is extremely rare for any artist (especially a pop artist). Additionally, doing so will continue her reign as the only Idol alum to have a year-end radio #1 from any genre. When one considers that she will be accomplishing this after a full decade into her career, it is just mind-boggling, actually !

-Maroon 5, the new forgettable band
-PSY, another one hit wonder but it could be the competition of Rihanna

I thought it's an old band. I just started coming out with huge songs like MLJ and I think it launched their success. The other three are just piece of dust compared to Kelly. Her career is stable.
PSY may succeed too since he's gonna record a song with Justin Bieber. Maybe two hit wonder?

I'm pretty sure Billboard only looks at airplay, sales, streams for their artists of the year. Someone over at Pulse said that Billboards year ended this past week.

No they were actually massively successful in mainstream Pop before too. Haven't you heard "She Will be Loved" or "This Love" or "Sunday Morning"? All were big singles, two of them being top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 I believe. It's just that their career trajectory kind of declined until Adam Levine joined The Voice, which propelled them back into the spotlight. Unfortunately, the music this side of The Voice has been much more generic.

Well, I've never heard them until Moves Like Jagger. And this song definately made me stanning for this band.
