To be fair, I believe that if an album was meant to sell, it's going to sell, leaked or not.


I mean, Britney did great with singles even though FF leaked long before it came out. The album sales were horrible though. Do you think it's because it was leaked or because the lack of grip that her legacy has on the pop music market?


I'd hazzard a guess that it's the latter. People are still willing to HEAR her music, especially her singles, but people don't want to invest in her.

If people want Warrior, they're going to buy it anyway.

That's just what I believe though. And I'm fine with it not leaking. Another promo single would be nice...since the first two are nothing like what we've yet to hear.

guys if it leaks it won't affect sales at all.
most albums leak around 5 days before its release (there is 6 days before its release here in australia)
+ not many people check for kesha's music unless its on the radio or physically being advertise.
the only people who will hear it if it leaks are fans..

Labels don't just make random conjectures. It was based on something. Though it's obvious that it wasn't based on historical sales of the album (as there is no record to go on). But you're crazy if you believe that conjecture has no credibility at all or wasn't an educated guess.

Y'all can deny that this will leak all you want, but I'm pretty sure almost every major pop girl's release in the past few years have leaked online before it's officially for sale.

Although I feel like this is turning into an "Unapologetic" type situation and I think we'll get the leak only a few days before the official release.

Higher sense of fandom. It's really a pigment of the imagination, in my judgement.

That and some people simply like being surprised by hearing anything from the record for the first time. Hearing the snippets and or the entire record before getting it physically kind of takes away from the euphoria of getting the album in the first place (at least properly).

I'm just here for the music...so I don't really care how I get it. Of course, I'll purchase the album legally (if it's an artist I really love or record I'm a huge fan of), but yeah.
