Tbh I dont care about the ratings anymore I'm focused on the show, and plus lower numbers will hopefully deflate Simon's ego.....which is probably the number one problem show, he has to make himself look better than other judges and that is why the audience always has problems connecting with the judges...due to his mind games.

it doesn't matter how it does in comparison to a show, that's more established and on a bigger network. It only matters how it does compared to the shows on Fox. And it's doing decently, not good, but enough for them.
It's not just a number that can be compared that easily.

It frustrates me how Britney can do such a half assed job and not be told much yet Demi who actually tries to be constructive to each act is getting most of it.

Agree... I kinda see why it's flopping so hard. X Factor literally does anything to gain ratings. Bashing people with rude comments to even making their own judges look bad. It's hard to explain but imo it seems mean spirited and there's just a bad/fake vibe going on.. Whereas on AI and The Voice it's the exact opposite.

The ratings are a disappointment and the show is definitely underperforming but they're not terrible. Also, Fox has realized the importance of social platforms, also for their acts.

I hope she can somehow manage to gain fans from the non-pop scene but also gain some from the pop group.

If she can achieve that and get critical acclaim plus radio support at the same time, the era is bound to slay.
