Most of the Romney supporters thought that the election was unfair because when it was called for Obama he was behind Romney in the popular vote, but as we are seeing votes are still being counted and Obama has pulled way ahead in the popular vote. He won it fair & square.

Because Romney was actually ahead in the popular vote at one point. Not so anymore, so they have NOTHING.

I mean I know, but I hate when the misinformed spew ********. They're trying everything in their power to discredit his win. He won with the electorate and he would've won without it.

I was laughing earlier at this though. I live in Texas so all the Romney supports on twitter before the election were saying, "I don't know why ya'll voted, Texas is a red state anyways" and I would tell them the popular was still important.
Now they are the ones crying about the EC and saying the Popular vote matters more. (when Romney was in the lead of course)

ahhh deleted me? that's fine one less of y'all to deal with in my book. that's one thing that YOUR damn black ass president has been successful at.. dividing the country. blacks hating white s and white's hating blacks.. so good job on voting a racist into office, one who is hell bent on destroying america. I would love to hear where these jobs are and how the economy is growing again? I sure as hell don't see it. I do see, however, my premiums going up on my healthcare to pay for some dead beat black ass son of a bitch, or some black bitch. Call me racist, that's ok, I'm fine with that. Atleast I can admit it. As far as the republican party goes, I would rather belong to a party that is all about God, and put's God first on anything and everything involving our decisions than to belong to a party that had to vote three times at the DNC to put God in their platform. Please go ahead and argue with me on that one.. we'll see how far it goes. I guess what it boils down to is, I'm tired of busting my ass to make ends meet while I'm paying for other people's healthcare, food, housing, cellphones (since they have to have one and all) all of their damn babies they pop out. While they're riding around in their brand new car, watching tv on a 60 inch flat screen smoking a bowl to the head and laughing saying "haha all those white folks paying for our ****." If that's what America is now then I want no part of it. So once again **** you!

Obama would have lost last night if the snow storm on the east coast happened yesterday and not now.

What type of asinine logic?
Obama won because the Republican party has become far too extreme for people in the middle ideologically. When you speak out against all forms of abortion, even in the cases of rape, as well as your hope that all illegal immigrants will self-deport themselves because they want to make their lives as miserable as possible in the states, as well as their stubbornness when it comes to marriage equality, you have gone to far as a party.
Last night, the American people spoke up: while no one is happy with where the economy is today, we cannot afford to elect a president who would have redefined rape, made it harder for lower-income families to scale up the socio-economic ladder, etc.
The Republicans are so out of touch with the mainstream that they can't even fathom that people aren't here for them. They are the party of the privileged, white, gun-toting, bible-thumping Americans, a number that is slowly deteriorating and not making up nearly as much of the electorate as before. It's time for the republicans to admit that they were wrong, and Americans want a political world where everyone's voice is heard, not just the few with the largest checkbooks.
Last night was a victory for civilization and our evolution towards a more perfect union.

I haven't been on here for a while, but I did follow the election thread last night funniest moment was when that monster Romney was ahead and you lot in America thought you were going to have to move to Canada :') the GIFs were priceless but if I was American and Romney was elected President, I'd book a flight to Canada myself Or even London (where I'm from)
So happy for the Prez to be elected into a second term though. He's such a cool guy, who else would enter a summit on a f***ing skateboard?! And people wanted to replace him with that idiot who was mentally stuck in the 50s? I seriously feared for you guys at one point

Congrats to Barack Obama, Tammy Baldwin, Mazie Hirono, Tulsi Gabbard, Tammy Duckworth, and Elizabeth Warren. I'm also very happy to hear about Maine, Maryland and Washington passing gay marriage, Minnesota voting down a gay marriage ban, and Washington and Colorado for the legalization of marijuana. Moving forward!
