As for "the age factor" - this isn't going to weigh into anything in this game.
Please leave meaningless factors elsewhere. It's disrespectful and judgmental, tbh.
Plus, who said it's impossible to be classy and messy at the same time?

No disrespect meant.
However, I do feel strongly that age does factor in. Not necessarily in who can be deemed a "Top Member"... I think any age could achieve that title. But age does factor into your entire outlook and post style on ATRL.
And for the record, I would have disagreed with that statement when I was your age too. Being the age I am now though allows me a different viewpoint on the matter tho...

Sure, maybe. But I don't think it's incorrect for me to claim I know a lot more about music
than most users on ATRL that stick to particular fandoms and claim ignorance about anything else.
It's not ever impossible for a 17-year-old to be more knowledgeable than a 21-year-old.
It's just that the latter has progressed farther in life, tbh.

Oh, I wasn't speaking about knowledge at all. In fact, I agree with you that a younger person could potentially have more knowledge in certain areas than an older person. I was talking more about confidence and maturity levels. Even as a teenager, you feel like you have those things, but the older you get the stronger they get, and you begin to realize this. THat's what I mean. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

For the record, I never said you were a little kid who didn't know anything. I don't think that it's true. I do think there is a certain outlook and sense of self that comes with age though.
