Billboard hasn't said anything yet, which makes me believe they got different numbers...
Who do we go by if they do?
Billboard/Soundscan is the official number. And they don't report until Wednesday. They'll probably come in a bit lower too. HDD uses an estimate based on reported sales, Soundscan uses actual scans of the CD. Soundscan is more accurate.
If she was 1.34 on HDD and 1.2 on Billboard/Soundscan she would have officially sold 1.2.
Now that we've all(or most of us) heard Red, which song do you think should've been the lead?
WANEGBT on late august like they did or maybe 1-2 weeks before
Begin again to country, inmediatly with the release on late september
She would have peaked earlier on pop and they would have sent already IKYWT to adds and BA would be top 10 by the album's release
Lol CFC and I had different approaches to the same end result - basically anything that wouldn't have alienated country the way WANEGBT did would have had her break Britney's record.
I think they know they jacked that up and are working on it.
