Yas, the nominations would be nice - but it'd be even nicer without desperate tactics.
I just don't want the era to resemble TD in any way. The era was too long and too pushy in my opinion.

All I'm saying is that I don't want Warrior to be like TD.
Katy reinvents her entire image with each single and it's tacky. I don't want K$ to do that.
Sleazy didn't actually try to get urban radio traction though... it was a for-fun remix. Wasn't even a single.
It was released between eras to try to keep herself in the public eye, not a desperate form of attention.
Additionally, none of those video effects are things that are "desperate for attention".
They're all things that remain relative to her image and the entire feel of Ke$ha.
And... wait, where does she dance on another planet?
