I don't agree, but OIDIA is an impressively solid and underrated album. I mean, it's Britney's highest Metacritic score (73/100). I love OIDIA, cohesive, strong, great vocals, and Britney really delivers in it.

I wish What U See, Don't Go Knockin' on my Door, Can't make You love me, and Satisfaction would've been singles, though.

I just realized Red sold over 500K on its first day just like Oops! did but the difference is that Red has an extra day than Oops! did and her promotion hasn't even kicked in yet.

She's definitely gonna break the record now.

Oh well, at least it was done by a loyal Britney stan.

+1 As an album no but it gave us some of Britney's and the pop world's most iconic tracks.
Oop's, Stronger, & Lucky witch are probobly more remembered than blackout's singles.

"Blackout" is her best album , and I think is her only album that is treated by even other fanbases with respect, it had wide good reception, and its critical appreciation just got better with time.

Blackout is like her masterpiece, and every artist needs an album to be on a pedestal, if fans don't appreciate "Blackout" then no one will in the future, and then she won't have any "great" album since her other albums are not taken as seriously as "Blackout".

Its just the same that happened with "Toxic" it was her masterpiece for years, her song known as officialy her best .... Then a lot of her fans got bored of that song and started saying it wasn't her best .. Now the song is not taken as seriously as before.

In The Zone is her 'masterpiece' and is also the album (and era) she was the most involved in.
