Bestowed with being Whitney's best work, breaking down barriers, and transcending genres and different people worldwide and a undeniable classic, is enough to prove that this album deserves to be top 10 on the list PERIOD.

That was her second album in 1987. Unless you talking about the Billboard 200 end year chart. Yes, Whitney was the first female ever that ranked number one on the BB 200 end year chart in 1986.
