I'm glad. I really like Adele but this era has really made me tired of hearing her. At least this way she will come back somewhat fresh sounding and I'll be able to listen and enjoy her again.

I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! 5 years? More like 5 days!

This is a smart move.
She's way too overexposed. Maybe once people start forgetting about her, she can come back strong and hopefully not be shoved down everyone's throats.
I'd go for another 19 type era where she's present just enough to appreciate her, but not too much to want to light yourself on fire every time one of her songs comes on. I really do love her, so I hope she does it differently next era. I also hope she gets a little more creative with her songwriting. This era was so lyrically languid.

I wouldnt say languid. Its just that 21 focused on a break up so the album had a consistent theme. Her next album will definitely be something different since she even said that she doesn't want people to only know her for her sad depressing songs but that she can be happy
