I agree. It was really exciting when it was confirmed Beyonce would be in it. But I was not interested in any of the male leads that were rumoured to be attached to it.

I would really love a Baz Luhrman musical with her and Hugh Jackson though as was mentioned once I think by Baz after the Oscars once. I'm not a fan of either of them really but I think it could be good. His movies are always larger than life and I think Beyonce could really shine in a movie like that. We all know how Sasha likes it. Like a New Orleans musical or something.

Tbh i'm more excited for ''Epic'' than ''A Star I Born''. Imagine how successful it will be. I'm sure it will be her highest grossing movie with hundreds of millions! Plus it will give diversity in her filmography.

I def want her to be bubbly and fun. And the film is going to be aimed at kids so i guess so as well. How much do you expect it to gross? Considering they are the creaters of Ice Age i expect $550 million or above

Hah that is a lot. But I'm really not sure. Is that what Ice Age grossed? There have been a lot of movies I think by the same company that always use the, "From the creators of Ice Age" tag, but then again Epic seems a bit different in that it's a bit more action-seeming than the other ones. But then the end of the preview makes it seem a little more jokey. I think we'll have to wait till the trailer. If it's released in May there should be on by December, no?

Before this next album B should film a action/triller film. Or after this album she should film more movies but not like Cadillac record! Blockbusters films! Non musicals! I still can't get over the fact of anne Hathaway being the catwomen in batman! When that should have been Beyonce! And for the 100 time I need to see Beyonce name linked to Christopher Nolan either for a music video of her or a movie a trilogy or all of the above!

with Beyoncé being a music artist first & foremost I am glad she had decided to focus on the music for next year, or so I am assuming with her departure from ASIB.
At least she now won't have to over-schedule herself & only give half of herself to music and the other half to movies. She can hone in her focus which hopefully results in better music, better single choices & a more solid album campaign since the DIL era.
It's a bit disappointing considering that she could've had a big movie breakthrough with ASIB, but she has a million more opportunities for movies & hopefully she does them on her album breaks instead of in the middle of an album era. That way we'll always have something Beyoncé-related instead of ridiculous droughts like the current one.

So in regards to the lip-syncing threads, do you guys think Beyonce does it as much as everyone seems to think (I get that most of them are hating though)? I've always felt that when she does, it's obvious. She doesn't hold the mic to her head, or you can just tell that she isn't singing. But the Love on Top (Roseland) looked really convincing if it was. I think anything fake seeming about it is just a matter though of 4 days footage compiled into 1 video clip though.

I remember the If I Were a Boy (Today Show) lip-syncing fiasco when someone "leaked" the real vocals Bey was supposedly singing. I believed it for a second and was so disappointed and made me want to not stan for her anymore. But after a few listens I realized when her voice should go UP, the "leaked" version goes down and so on and so forth, so I knew it was fake. Then the guy admitted it was fake.

But anyway my point is that her live singing is one of my favourite things about her, and I don't want her to ever lip-sync. What do you guys think?

She does lip-sync and I'm not against it.. It's done for many reasons and it's not like she can't sing and dance, we know she can.. When she lip-syncs she's smart about it, like she'll start singing in between (Single Ladies - I Am Tour) or start singing at the start (Get Me Bodied - I Am Tour).. Plus she has sung Single Ladies live a few times with the choreography so we know she can do it but Roseland Love on Top was lipped..

They are both prerecorded.. With the VMA's her mic was on at the start because i'm she wasn't lipping the speech and at the end when she dropped her Mic as we heard it was on..
