Rihanna is one of the most relevant pop star on the planet. If a song about cockroaches and vaginas was released as a lead single the song would fly to the top 10 on Itunes because of her name. Every major artist their lead single shoots into the top 10 including Britney, Gaga, P!nk, Kelly, Christina, Kesha and Beyoncé.
What happens after it hits top 10 is the important part. This song isn't a sure fire smash, not because it shoots into the top 10 means it's going to become a hit.
I was ready for something more... upbeat?
