Y'all... this song is so DIFFERENT! But I can't get over how deep Rihanna took it. This isn't your ordinary, top 40, cookie cutter dance track. The string flourishes, the melancholic, dark piano synths... The only thing that's keeping this song from being a HOT AC night time smash is that "Shine bright like a diamond" hook. It all sounds so regal and serious to me.
