Tik Tok wasn't that basic. And plus, we were just moving into a Pop-dominated era, so it sounded like something fresh. At this stage in music, these types of songs are just being put out for the sake of staying relevant.

Yeah. It certainly fits Ke$ha. I love everything about the song. It's just that, she can never win in pleasing everyone because people always want one thing or the other from her. Is it a radio-friendly smash, or something more progressive? Either way she takes, people are going to be pressed.
