Ive been trying to convince everyone that 90% of whats put on the radio is just **** that artist want to perform well, i honestly can say the same for Ke$ha tbh, really dissapointed
You have to keep in mind that people have this reaction to every new song that premieres. When WFL was released, a lot of people did not like it and said the same kind of things. 6 months later and people say it's her best hit. It's going to take a few days for people to start appreciating it. I'm not too worried. Just expect a lot of bitter people for a while. Eventually it will grow on them. The song is a euphoric anthem.
It's generic, it sounds like Good Time, it isn't rocky, it isn't an epic dance song, she's done this before, it doesn't stand out, etc. It just isn't what we were hyped for.
Just out of curiosity what does everyone NOT like about it ?
The Dr. Luke recycled beats?
The basicness?
The dancebreak being a let down?
No my opinion just stating what seems to be the most said around the forum.
For me it's the basicness and that flop of a dancebreak. The song has been hyped up for weeks now, and I thought we were getting an absolute smash, not some midtempo generic song.
I don't absolutely hate the song, but I definitely don't love it either.
In all honesty, I love the song, it sounds like a radio smash, the GP will honestly eat this up. The only thing about this is that this sounds like something that would have been on Cannibal. Also, I imagined Dr.Luke would recycle again.
The verses are the biggest let down, the chorus is perfect in my opinion.
