Seriously, people laugh at Katy Perry and her screeching but she sings and moves a lot on stage. If Rihanna tried to do Katy's show with Katy's intensity she'd be just as shouty and out of tune as her and she'd be exhausted to the point of needing an ambulance in a middle of the show

In all honesty, I think this crowd just had an affect on her. Because Rihanna has been improving in her performances the entire Talk That Talk era, both vocally and finally dancing and doing choreo as well.

If you watch Hackney, for instance, the energy and her effort was off the chain - and so was the crowd.

Everyone at iHeartRadio acted like they won these tickets from an ice cream wrapper or something. Like....
