The fact is this: FAME by Lady Gaga sold ~6 million bottles in a week. This makes it the 2nd fastest-selling fragrance of all time. I'm sorry that upsets some of y'all, but you're just gonna need to accept it and move on.

You're comparing sales of an album to universal perfume
But yes. That is the point. Not only her fanbase can and will buy her perfume unlike an album or a concert ticket. Perfume is for any and everyone. People will buy it if they like the way it smells regardless if they're a "little monster" or not, which is why it makes perfect sense as to why a perfume would sell more than an album.

First: perfumes cater to more demographics and are a larger market than music.
Second: Music sales shouldn't be compared to perfume sales in the first place.

Well, of course her manager will say nothing but praise about Gaga. It's what they've been hired for. And managers can't really provide with published receipts unless they work for organizations that do.
