Glee shaded Britney rather than celebrate her, they will get dragged for this episode. It was more about the controversy than her legacy. I think Ryan Murphy had a good idea to show Brittanys comeback but he went too far with the shade. The music took a backseat tonight, the only good numbers were Oops I Did It Again (Rachel declaring herself sexy, like Britney back in 2000) and Hold It Against Me (Brittany vs Kitty, the epic fight scene from the music video) Gimme More was okay, I did laugh at the cheetos reference and the oversized coffee. But they went too far with the hair shaving, the umbrella attack and lip syncing. I found those rude
If they really wanted to celebrate Britney they should have included Stronger (the epic chair dance) and either Til The World Ends or I Wanna Go (Britney's biggest radio singles). My Prerogative or Piece of Me would have even been great additions to this episide to highlight Britney's strength
