No not really. Those songs were not really like the songs on the radio at the time. Like Single Ladies for example, was released in the period where everyone was releasing those electro-pop songs.
The problem I have with Dr. Luke is that I just don't want him to be in the credits of Beyoncé's album. However if it does happens, so be it. I will probably love it anyways.

So I was saying/asking Beyonce has worked with the IT producers at the time and those were made for radio success, so are they generic? I wanted know what generic was. that's all.
When people say generic, I think they mean it has very little to differentiate itself from the next song on the radio other than the vocalist.
I'm personally not here for that. Crazy In Love sounded like nothing else at the time. Beyoncé brought live instrumentation back in to popular music. And I hope she does the same again as I'm not liking the LMFAO brand of music I'm hearing everywhere.
I'm not opposed to Bey working with dance producers like Calvin Harris, Dr. Luke, Max Martin etc.. But as Pulse said they will have to bring out their best. I can see Bey using their sound and trying to infuse influences from R&B in there as well. That would be magic. I need a good bop from Bey again. I feel like 5 will be a JAM.
