I agree. NBC did this intentionally to destroy the season premiere of X Factor. They knew that The Voice had a loyal audience (expected after two seconds,) something The X Factor didn't. The Voice has a more diverse cast and that Blake guy, who's a huge country artist. The worst part about this is it's distracting from how The Voice’s ratings are starting to tumble from previous seasons as well.

If the numbers are underwhelming with Britney on the show, I can't even being to imagine what they would have been like without her. Well under 5 million?

My thoughts exactly. Seems like the US sees it as an American Idol copycat, and if Idol is going downhill, why switch to its "copy"?

It also doesn't help that Fox and Simon promote it so much as a "british success", if you know what I mean, and we all know how America prefers to guard its own "children"...

Watching the premier was really boring apart from Don Philip audition, cause we literally seen most of the auditions about a hundred times beforehand from promo clips.

There were so many things that went wrong really. But there's nothing can be done. Premier night is the most important. The show will probably get cancelled next year.

I mentioned this on Twitter while I was watching the full episode last night in HD last night... Basically, we had see HALF of the show already.

It felt as MESSY as the HIAM countdown video premiere.
