Cassie isn't the problem for me. I actually like Cassie's part, and I said that when I heard the demo while we were guessing who the feature would be.
The problem is the timing of its release combined with the circumstances; being that any urban song off PFRR is either better or just as good as this song so I don't see why she thought scrapping all of those songs for this was such a necessary thing to do. So again, I like the song, but at the same time I don'r want to settle for it.

Now in this group is a plethora of conflicting personalities and opinions on Onika's music.
We all want the best, but I've analyzed a lot.
Reed is a strong personality that really does want the best for Nicki. It's like this, he does want Nicki to succeed, but he isn't delusional.
Psycho just really wants Nicki to succeed in her lyricism and other business aspects. I feel for him because I do feel like he wants the best for ha, like everyone else.
Siya and TM. I honestly feel like TeamMinaj hasn't fully ... loved anything from this era. That makes me a BIT salty because I do want everyone to like what Nicki has done. Just judging on how he listens to PIO, I feel like Nicki hasn't fully made him proud in that aspect. Same goes for Siya and Monster. She does bop to all of the music, but I don't think she is really loving the music, which is OKAY.
Doc and EastCoast seem like the ones who are less spoken on how they feel, which is all good I guess. Doc seems to still love PF:RR, as does EC, which is great.
Leon and all of them are just there, honestly. I can't really READ them that easily.

Thank you Willy. This is where I come from with everything I say. I want her to succeed with her music, business prospects, and everything. Just these mistakes and everything else seem to halter that at times.
But I agree with everything you said honestly.

It's not really offensive. You just haven't really been here long enough for me to really analyze you

And I'm not even sure how Daily feels. He seems optimistic all the time, but I don't think I'll ever forget when Dear Old Nicki was playing after the site closed

I read 'Reed' and 'strong' so the rest must be the gospel
No, but in all seriousness, I can admit we're all tied together by the same thread: we all want Nicki to succeed, but yes, some of us have a tendency to settle for second-rate-Nicki when we know damn well she's capable of bringing her best. This single is NAWT first-rate-Nicki and to top it all off, her timing with all of this is horrible.

Nobody mentioned this when she announced it.
Everyone was so excited and couldn't wait. When did timing become a factor?

Hmmmmm.....
I could type how I feel but it would take awhile and I honesty don't care enough to take the time to do so.
She's doing her, as long as the output is good music (to me) then I'm fine.

If this song flops harder than Massive Attack it will cause Nicki to rethink and re-record this era, and come up with some innovated shhit.

Timing became a factor when she released a weak single.
This song could have been like 6'7 foot. 3 verses no chorus, just spitting. 6'7 foot SMASHED. and Lil Wayne is hated.

Very true.
But you can't take that last part too seriously. I was in immediate anger at the time and it was a rational (and dumb) decision without any thought to it.
