Not even close. I think Dustin Lynch might have charted but besides his song there hasn't been much. Now I'm not saying Tay's song is country in anyway. I understand its pure pop but Faith Hill's This Kiss was pretty pop for its time as was Dolly's Here we come again. So it seems to chart high as a country artist requires to give up alot of your country sound or all of it in the case of Taylor but atleast she did a remix .
Lots of "countrier" country songs make the Hot 100 just not the Top 10 or #1 necessarily. I can see the issue with calling WANEGBT a country song. There's a country mix they play on country radio that contributes to its airplay but it's not for sale, so most of the song's "points" are coming from the pop version (a lot of the airplay, all the downloads). I understand why Billboard doesn't want to get into the debate of how "country" a song is...it's a slippery slope.
I think it says a lot for the sucess of a song, topping the Hot 100 without Streaming, and for 3 weeks? That's incredibly amazing, no doubts about how this song is a monster
