I haven't seen all of the VMA's, and I only caught about two thirds of this one, but from the looks of it there was just nothing captivating about it whatsoever. The heavy hitters were not here this year and the failed comedy was embarrassing, as were most of the performances.
The problem with this VMA was that all the performances were EXACTLY what we would normally expect from these performers. They were all lukewarm at best.
No. I was there and I enjoyed it very much. However I have to agree with the OP that it was very messy and unorganized. It seemed like no one cared, but it presented a very chill and laid back atmosphere that I liked.
Give it a break already.
