Almost all of Kanye's albums have seen some sort of release uncertainity until the incoming release. That really isn't a factor when you have a dedicated fanbase.

I'm not sure what the argument here is (if she'll go #1 or how well the sales will be) but I'm sure she'll have her usually modest debut and hold relatively well. That's if she releases better songs and gives other places than Australia promotion.

yeah, she'll be around the world again. first, she did acoustic radio performances and interviews in the US (now, the VMAs, ellen on the 10th, etc.), then she'll be everywhere in europe for the european release of the album (gigs, performances, interviews), and then back to the US for the album launch there (interviews, performances)... and then they'll release that storytellers episode, a new VH1 behind the music special, etc. and then she'll be in australia. her schedule's filled to the brim!

i probably forgot some stuff, but i think when promo hits, you'll all feel it

I'm not even talking about this era, I haven't been following it. I'm talking in general, she spent the last album touring Australia for months, while America got not even two weeks of attention.

I think she has definitely gained many many new fans in the US. Especially after the Grammy Performance. She'll tour for longer this time

it's supply and demand. i don't think the US was as interested in her as europe or australia, that's why she broke records there. i mean, even US radios banned her songs and didn't give her the support she needed :/

but this era will be different.
