Round 4 - 5/5 - This was such a personal round that I cannot give you a score lower than 5, love that song.
Round 5 - 5/5 MLD went IN with his comment, Lana is flawless and she deserved all the hype she got...anyway...I kinda agree I mean Lana performed the song on some tv shows but other than that the song didn't received an adds date so it pretty much flopped because of that...and yes, Pink was a better choice imo.
Round 6 - 5/5 - I think you did great this round, I mean that song talks about sex so it fits the theme, glad you didn't change it.
Round 7 - 5/5 - Teeth is definitely a different and great song from Gaga.
Round 8 - 5/5 - My first round judging  I remember your song, it was cute but not the best...I'm glad you reconsidered changing this song for the this revised round.
Round 9 - 5/5 - Even tho they are a One Hit Wonders the reason why I gave you a 8.5 it's because I didn't liked the song that much, and there are more more songs better than this...I liked your explanation, and that's why I'm gonna give you a perfect score even tho I don't like that you didn't wanted to change this song.
Round 10 - 5/5 - Great song, great round for you! Glad you didn't changed a thing.
Round 11 - 5/5 - I was totally surprised by this song, I'm not a fan of this kind of bands but this song was a great choice!
Round 12 - 5/5 - Men In This Town ****s should have been a single, definitely.
Round 15 - 5/5 another perfect score, you did great this round, great choice tbh!
Round 16 - 4/5 - You Can't Win is cute song with ok lyricsbut Let me Down is better imo, the emotion behind it is just amazing.
Round 17 - 5/5 - I think adding Man Down to the EP was a great choice. It's a great song.
Round 19 - 5/5 - Rumors and WOMH are both great songs that would have smashed if released by a major popstar, glad you didn't change anything.
Round 20 - 5/5 - After reading some comments on the Survivor thread and your explanation I think you did great! Some GH are great to hear from the first era to the latest. And yes, Disturbia is a better choice! Glad you added it!

I don't consider Smile a bad choice, but it clearly is not an anthem and thinking about this again, I think I came up with a better choice. so if I had to do that round again, I would submit Since You're Gone by The Pretty Reckless. She's basically kicking her ex's ass in that song, it's fierce & powerful and she's definitely over the guy.

Round 2
My Prerogative was my last resort in that round because every other song I wanted to submit was already taken, so it was pretty rushed and I didn't think about it much. it didn't even get a bad score and it does fit the theme, but going through my iTunes again I've found something better: Ugly by Sugababes. for me, this is a truly self-empowering song, dealing with being insecure about yourself in a way a lot of people have experienced themselves. that's why I think it's a better choice than MP, because it's more relatable for the listener; Britney rather sings about her own life.
Ray Bass: 4/5. “Anna I just found out you at these stages of the game really weren’t that much of a good player lol. Ugly by the Sugababes is a much better, well-thinked, and bolder choice than MP is though.”
Round 3
even though Blackout had quite an average score, I would not change my entry for this round. one of my missions when I entered this game was not to play it safe and to include songs that are not mainstream/widely known/expected choices etc., and I think that applies to this song. plus it's just such a party jam, both lyrically and music-wise, and when I saw them live, it was the one song that got everyone in the crowd going, stans, casual fans, moshers and even parents, which is what I expect from a good party song. oh and btw, Ryan, you said the public couldn't really get into this song - I think its platinum certification says otherwise
Ray Bass: 3/5. “I happen to love this song and always have, but there are way better party songs which anyone can bop to. I can’t imagine this being played at a club and everybody singing along as opposed to other songs.”
Round 4
I got my first overall 10 for Hurt, but even if I hadn't, I would not change my submission because that song means so much to me.

my average this round I already explained in the thread why I chose Video Games, according to Wiki it was a single in the US and with a peak at #91 I thought it was definitely a flop, considering its international success. in addition to that, I am not very familiar with chart positions and sales figures so that was a very difficult round for me. anyway, if I had to do this again I think I would go with Trouble by P!nk. it only reached #60 which I think is disappointing for her. the song is typically her, it's catchy and just rocks (and so does the video), so I don't understand why people weren't here for it.
Ray Bass: 5/5. “This is probably the best revision you did. Video Games in any way was a flop as it wasn’t even a single and it had critical acclaim and success, but Trouble is an underrated song which sadly flopped. Excellent.”
Round 6
I guess my biggest problem that round was that I was not stanning for Rihanna yet however, once again the time difference sabotaged me and I only got my third choice (the first two both getting the players who chose them perfect scores). then when the judges' comments were revealed, I thought I might have gotten the theme wrong and tbh I still don't know whether we were supposed to send in ****ty/sexy songs or songs we would have sex to, which for me are two different things. I'm just gonna keep this choice because the score wasn't even bad.

Round 7
no need to change anything since the judges agreed that Teeth was the perfect choice!
Ray Bass: 5/5. “Yup, still perfect. The song is way darker than what we were used from Gaga-”
Round 8
when the theme for that round was revealed, I immediately know I wanted to send in something by LIGHTS. I think she is super talented and deserves to be heard. I was super surprised by Ryan's 10 and content with the overall score I got for Ice, it was decent. today I would still go with a different song, though, Toes. it is from her second album and shows a more mature sound while still being catchy and cute like her earlier songs.
Ray Bass: 3/5. “Hmm.. song is really cute but there’s nothing more to say about it.  ”
Round 9
it's tough to say how I feel about this since Dylan und Alexz liked it and Ryan hated it. I mean, I was well aware of the risk that came with submitting this song, it was not a safe choice, but it was (and most probably will be) The Ready Set's only hit. Ryan, you even said you could see why he is a one hit wonder so I still don't understand the low score. nevertheless, I'd keep this entry, because I'd rather get an average score with a song that I fully stand behind because I know it and like it than get a 10 with a random song I looked up somewhere (which would have been easy to do this round).
Ray Bass: 5/5. “Oh god I can’t at the other judges’ ratings!! Anna, had I rated that round, I would’ve gave you a perfect score, TRS’s Love Like Woe was my smash song for like a whole year. Loved the entry.”
Round 10
I was really into Frank at that time and super happy I could use him for a challenge, and I would still send Thinkin' Bout You today, since it fits both the theme and my approach to bring something new to the game.

no, I would not change anything about this round. Into Your Arms got better scores than I hoped for, I was a bit scared of your reaction because I think none of you knew the song, but you guys received it very well and that really made me happy.
Ray Bass: 4.5/5. “The Maine’s strongest attribute it’s the depth on their lyrics. Into Your Arms still gives me the shivers from me missing someone like an ex-girlfriend.”

Men In This Town so would have smashed as a single, I'm glad the judges agreed. no changes here either.

surprise, surprise - of course I would keep this, too! my third 10, and that was definitely the least expected one. I really thought you guys wouldn't like this song, even though it undoubtedly fit the theme, because it's a very different genre. just like Into Your Arms, this song is dear to me, so I was even happier about what you said.
Ray Bass. 5/5. “Lyrics are so full of rage, no wonder you got a perfect 10.”
Round 16
I have never listened to an album by Kelly so this was a difficult task for me. I also didn't want to take the easy route and ask a Kelly stan for help, so I tried to figure it out myself. in the end it was between Let Me Down and You Can't Win, which I both thought were pretty good tracks. one half of the jury loved it, the other didn't think it was that good of a choice, and today, I think I'd actually go with You Can't Win instead.
1.5/5. “Nope, Let Me Down was a much better choice. I think you downgraded on this one BTD. LMD has this ‘lead single’ vibe all over it, You Can’t Win sounds like an album track at its best.”

my entry here also got quite different reactions from the judges; I want you to know that I understand why you criticized certain things and I actually agree with some of your points. so here's a revised tracklist for the Loud EP:

I included Man Down to make it a bit more diverse and also changed the order of the songs; OG as the strongest track is now the center piece of the track list, concluding the first energetic half while the second is a bit more toned down with two ballads and the easy-going WMN.
Ray Bass: 5/5. “I was one of the judges that loved the fact that you included Man Down on your EP, glad you kept it and made the choice for Fading. Now your EP is perfect”.

I am not familiar with Disney/Nick, I guess that's an American/hardcore pop stan thing, so I had to go by what I know. I decided on Miley and Lindsay and I really think those two songs could have been hits if recorded by an already successful pop girl. most of the judges agreed with me so no changes here.

Here, the tracklisting seemed to be the biggest flaw in the judges' eyes, but I still stand by it. I want the listener to follow the progress and different stages throughout her career when they listen to this. however, I would take out Hard and replace it with Disturbia, but that's the only thing I would do differently.

Round 16 - 5/5 - Perfect score! This song is amazing tbh!
Round 17 - 4/5 - Let Me Down > You Love Me, you should've change I Flopgive You or You Can't Chart instead of Let Me Down imo.
Round 19 - 4/5 - Why keep PYHU?  Make It In America is great, but you should have changed Ariana's song since it doesn't screams Hit.

MLD: 8/10: I've only heard this song at one High School dance I went to, but this song is really great for dances like LUAU, Blacklight, or MORP (Prom Backwards) and it's definitely great for the clubs and parties. But Dr. Luke's production makes this song not so much of a standout, so Domino would have to be remixed in order to be a club banger sometimes. The dance I went to where Domino was played had the song remixed, so yeah!

MY ANSWER: Even though i got pretty good scores on this round, i would change it now to We Found Love. Domino is a fun upbeat song but i can't really grind on people during it

DillonATRL - 7.5 - you did struggle this round and it kinda showed..yes this was a flop...and i love the song...but Ashley's biggest hit was He Said She Said which from what i recall wasn't a big hit...however i expected it to perform similar to He Said She Said which it didn't only peaking at like 98 i believe.
Ray Bass: 7. “I personally love this song, and it’s such an empowerment anthem for a failed relationship, but Ashley’s songs has never done that well, so I’m not calling Ashley herself a flop, but she has never had a true hit for me to compare this to.”
MLD: 1/10: I like the song, but this single deserved to flop! It's a cheesy ripoff of So What and it absolutely becomes forgotten once you hear the rest of her flawless album.

MLD: 8/10: I can't really connect to this song since I'm gay - it's a bit too straight for my taste. Plus, Britney Spears kinda ****s over this song with her Cinderella song. But I like this song - it's really nice - just the lyrics you know, they kinda kill it a little for me. It's too story-like for me. But this song reminds me a bit of Taylor Swift and some other female artist. Oh wait, I Hope You Dance. Yeah, this song reminds me of I Hope You Dance instrumental wise. Gosh I sound bipolar. Great song, it's just you know - a little out of my comfort zone.

DillonATRL - 9 - this is one of Rihanna's more urban songs...however it was played on Pop Radio a lot. Still a good job since this was a crossover
Ray Bass: 8.5. "Timmy it really seems you're way too much into Pop to know a bit of what Urban radio plays, but WMN is actually a very certain shot to what they play.
The island-tingled beat flows perfectly with Drake's verses and Rih's voice, making it an authentic Summer and Urban smash.
MLD: 6/10: Annoying (but likeable) song by Rihanna but it fits the round
Alexz - 9 - Oh Timmy, what's your faves name? (Say it, just say it!) Very clever lyrics, I didn't know the meaning of the song, the after-sex anthem or our generation. Catchy as hell and interesting lyrics , good choice.

Alexz - 9 - HR is too stupid for not including this song on the main tracklist instead of the abomination that is YMOS. Demi has the personality to sing this type of songs, not sure if this would have smashed 'cuz when I first heard the song I wasn't impressed, it later grew up on me...probably a sleeper hit just like Give Your Heart a Break but with a less impressive run. Great job Timmy!

MLD: 7/10: We all know this has to be Demi's most personal song. It's one of my favorites from her and my favorite off the album, but I always thought of this song as more of a sad tone to it. BUT now that I think about it, Demi does have some pretty good rage in the bridge and a few others part. But, it's not enough rage to get a higher score because I still think of it as her crying.
Alexz - 9 - You can really feel her pain in her voice there's a lot of emotions involved in this song, rage is one of them obviously, but is not the main emotion imo. Still, it's a great song and a great choice, Timothy.

The song was about a breakup, and Rita wasn't moping about anything and she wasn't even bringing her old beau down. She was just bringing herself up in an amazing way. She's "young, single, and sexy [from] London to New York City!"

Party Songs - Pound the Alarm (Nekci Menij) I feel like this is a good choice because this song flat-out makes me want to dance! This used to be my least favourite pop track on PF:RR, but now it's up there (even higher than Whip It) and the song has an infectious beat and party-friendly tracks. The epitome of a fun track.

Personal Songs - No change. The song I chose "Invisible" by Skylar Grey, I connected with a lot and nothing else I could choose would be as sincere and pure as this. In my past, I really connected with this song. Sometimes, I even do now.
I'm happy the judges gave me a good score because this one meant a lot to me.

Top of the Flops - Wish You Were Here (Avril Lavigne) I feel like this is a good choice because Avril really deserved to have a successful era, and essentially all her singles with potential were wasted. Wish You Were Here is one of the best songs on the album, and the judges recommended it too, so why not?

Songs different from other works - Circle the Drain (Kety Perr) I feel like this is a good choice because Katy doesn't do angry rock ... I mean, look at her album Teenage Dream featuring songs like "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream" and a cover where she's lying on a cotton candy cloud looking sexy. I love both sides of Katy, but her rare side, where she hashes out her anger, really gets me going.
Ray Bass: 3/5. “I get how it fits the theme but I’ve never been a fan of this song”
Unknown Songs - All the Rowboats (Regina Spektor) I feel like this is a good choice because Regina Spektor is definitely unknown and this song is simply spectacular. It's a dark R&B ballad with piano and beautiful imagery in the music video. The song deserves to be an indie hit, and she, in this song, reminds me of other artists like Ellie Goulding and Christina Perri, especially the latter.
Ray Bass: 5/5. “Regina is so freaking UNDERRATED I’m glad you sent this. I mean, if Ellie and Christina Perri are having success, she deserves so as well. The song is beautiful.”
One-hit wonders: no change, Kristinia Debarge is the epitome (sorry I overuse this word, it's amazing) of one hit wonder. Let's see if this will eventually change.

Urban Anthems: My Neck My Back (KHIA) I feel like this is a good choice because this is the ****tiest, most "urban" song I have ever heard. I got into it really recently after all the hype for ATRL, and taking everything into consideration, this song and Khia in general is such an urban masterpiece.

I Miss You Songs - No change. "The Harold Song" is such a personal, emotional song about how Ke$ha misses her love. Especially because Ke$ha doesn't show her sensitive, vulnerable side often, this song is a perfect and powerful choice.

Should Have Been Singles - No change. I've been saying for ages that "Breaking Dishes" was the worst case of a "Single snub" (this should have been the name of the round ) or "Should have been single". I'm happy the judges agreed and liked the song as much as I do

Rage - No change. "Circle the Drain" is such a rageful song, especially for the flawless candy queen Katy Perry. There was so much pent up anger in her because of her unexpected divorce with her husband who seemed perfect for her, and as you can tell from Adele, Rihanna, and Katy Perry, anger leads to the best music!

Album Tracks by Artists with Which You Weren't Familiar - No change. Choosing a Beyonce non-single is very risky, since most of her deserving songs get released. Schooling Life was one of the best choices, imo, and it got me a decent score so I'll keep it at that, thanks

Disney Songs that Should Have Smashed - No change. I have no other ideas and I think my scores should have been higher because with a little tweaking, Get Back would be great on Katy's OOTB, and Liberty Walk would be great on Gaga's BTW. But that's merely my opinion.

Round 20: We Ride (Rihsus) I feel this is a good choice because this is Rihanna's only single to not chart on the Billboard chart. Even her promotional singles and album tracks have at least charted in the Billboard Bubbling Under, and We Ride failed to do even that, so it is undeserving to be on a Greatest Hits album. How much I like the song is irrelevant.

ROUND 5: CKB is one of my favourite rihanna songs ever! and its a pity it flopped! and ryan was right, if it was released in the fall or winter it could have smashed! but it was released at the wrong time, and then treated very bad fr a single! so i would not have made any changes in my entry for this round ! there maybe be choices better than this for this round like "Marry The Night" or "The Beyonce 4 Singles" .. but i dont love those songs as much as CKB, so yeah! CKB FTW!

Birthday Cake got good scores, but ray was right its more aggressive than ****ty! now, i would have picked "Rihanna - Skin" .. or .. "Britney Spears - Toxic"

ROUND 7: my 1/2 perfect 10 this whole tournament? NO SIR! i would have chosen this song a thousand times if i had to do it a thousand times! i submitted this song in like 20 seconds of dillon revealing the challenge! i dint have to think twice at ALL!

ROUND 8: this is such a beautiful song, and such a perfect entry for this round! It has this great bittersweet feel to it that makes it so catchy in the first listen and it brings up your emotions, so it was a perfect balance! but maybe if in a different time, a different mood, i would have chosen "Secondhand Serenade - Fall For You" .. it was down to these two songs last time, but i went for katie! both would have slayed tbh!

ROUND 9: oh i remember this round! i had my first meltdown after this!!:sorry MLD .. but yeah i was probably the last one to send in an entry that time and sent in FTP! but i was still confident that it'll do good! i dint know MLD had such a hate for it! even i dont like this song that much,, its okay but not their best track, so if i had gotten in earlier to send my entry quicker i'd have chosen "T.a.t.u. - ATTSS" .. no doubt! that song was perfection for this round! maybe la roux .. but yeah i would pick T.a.t.u. if i did this round again, cuz its such an obvious pick for this!!

ROUND 10: aaah! the ray attack! i was so confused about the genre at that time, i had some idea but i got all mixed up and confused .. ray helped my clear stuff up .. and i couldn't think of anyone but the flawless Lil Wayne .. and the mega smash lollipop! it did good but if i did this round again i just know i would have picked something from mariah .. most probably i'd have chosen "Mariah Carey - One Sweet Day" or "Beyonce - Irreplaceable" such epic urban legends!! both songs dominated the charts in their time and were legit urban legends!!

ROUND 15: again, i decided upon this song in a matter of minutes after dillon revealed the round! it was the perfect song for this round! but later on seeing ethan's entry of "Lies, Greed, Misery - Linkin Park", i had an enlightment! even though eminem got a perfect score, i just know i would choose LGM if i had to choose again! my fave song off Living Things album and such an epic rage song with the perfect bridge and music!

ROUND 16: tbh i am just as blank on this as i was back then! i havent listened to any brit track since that happened to really influence my decision! plus shadow was so great and did quite fine, but with some stuff i gained off my time on atrl i guess i would have chosen "In The Zone - I Got That Boom Boom" since i gathered that its a more favourite from the album! i m sorry but this was a BITCH of a round and i probably would have done it a little better than i did then! .. ofcourse with IGT(BB), which would have scored better!

ROUND 17: i would have made no changes to the EP ! i possibly couldnt have! SN was the title track, sparks fly and haunted are the standout songs of the album, LK ad BTD are the epic ballads, enchanted is a no thinker, mean is the most country song in there !! the only change that i would have made woul have been for long live! its still my fave off the album and a perfect ending track .. but to appeal to a wider audience, and since the judges were iffy about it .. i would have put one of "The Story Of Us" or "Better Than Revenge" in there, not as tthe last track, but in between and made enchanted the last track!! but as dillon said in there b4, its hard to go wrong with taylor!

ROUND 20: oh man, i wouldn't change a thing about this round! perfect artist, perfect placement of songs in the GH album, i particularly loved the title i gave it, plus the hits are all legitimate worldwide hits! so yeah i think i pretty much did the best i could!
and the sabotage song .. i dont think i even need to say! it was an epitome of sabotage songs! christmas song in a GH album! best moment in the tournament was reading timmy's reaction! so yeah i would have chosen the same song as the sabotage song any time of the tournament!
