I didn't expect it to make the Top 5 either. I guess people are fond of that melancholic guitar performance.
It's sad, sweet and hopeful and calls for a peaceful resolution to your problems. The pace of the track makes it feel boring, though.

#03 - Idioteque

Average Score - 8.413953488
Highest: 10 (madonnas, Muggwa, Supaspaz, Eric., Ace Reject, alkralkra, Jameson Teqkilla, Pink Panther, jose168, rlj, Coolestperson12, Stephen, mariska, MP2K, lovesong, nico.., frantic)
Lowest: 0 (Jdella11)
"Idioteque" is the final Kid A song to leave. Now OK Computer is the only album left standing. "Idioteque" wasn't a single, however it is one of the bands signature songs. It is one of their few forays into Dance music, and is known for its pulsating beat and Thom's passionate vocals. The song sampled two electronic songs made in the 1970s.
Well, this song was #1 for a short while, when there were about 10 or so votes. However, nobody ever seemed to dislike any OK Computer song, while this song had a few haters. It was actually #2 most of the time, until Jdevil11 came along and ruined it. I don't need to explain why this song deserves a 10 because its obvious. 10

Unlike you, I expected "No Surprises" to be even higher than #4. Geez.
Do them separately, but post them around the same time.

In short, "Idioteque" is HEAVEN! I wanted it to win.
"Paranoid Android" for the win!

WOW! Flawless top 2.
No Surprises should be higher than Idioteque.

I gave it a 9, so I wouldn't have a meltdown over it...but the lesser of the three OK Computer singles ahead of the other two would throw me off a bit, admittedly.

I prefer Karma Police, but both songs are great, so whatever.
Two posts please.

I think Karma Police will win. I haven't got much preference between them as I gave them both 8.5.
But It's great to see Idioteque make the top 3.

some people really should have thought better about giving THAT many songs 0s and 1s
the only way for scores like that to have impact is if you don't give almost everything a 0

#02 - Karma Police

Average Score - 8.793023256
Highest: 10 (Muggwa, Supaspaz, Ace Reject, Flashing Lights, Gui Blackout, YSL, lovecatt, Jameson Teqkilla, Coolestperson12, Stephen, mariska, Cobrastyle, jqnetto, True Skarlet, lovesong, nico.., frantic)
Lowest: 4 (RatedG2)
"Karma Police" is one of Radiohead's signature songs, and one of the two songs I knew from them before I explored their music. Its lyrics refer to an inside joke between the band members, and its critical acclaim is more than "No Surprises" but not the winner of this rate.
I always thought this song was slightly overrated, and I'm a bit relieved it didn't win. Did you actually think it had a chance? For a while it was at the lower ranks of the top 10, but it was the first song to be #1 after a few voters. It made somewhat of a comeback after no one gave it really any terrible score (it has the same amount of 10s as "Idioteque". Anyway, it has great lyrics, but isn't my favorite. 8.1

I gave it a 9 too. It's impossible not to love it. I know the grieving in here wouldn't be an childish and exaggerated as, say, Taylor Swift's "Enchanted" finishing at #4 in a Fall of 2010 album rate.
Edit: And there it is.

"Paranoid Android" coming for #1!!! As it should, it's their best song, one of the best songs of all time. Up there with "Comfortably Numb", "A Day In the Life", "Stairway To Heaven", "Bohemian Rhapsody" as one of the most impressive recordings of all time. The different sections...
It almost makes me forgive the fact that "Nude" and "House of Cards" aren't top 10.
----
And as for Radiohead albums, here's the correct order of best to worst:
1 OK Computer
2 Amnesiac
3 Hail To the Thief
4 In Rainbows
5 Kid A
6 The Bends
7 The King of Limbs
8 Pablo Honey

"Karma Police" is their most well known song, right? I'm not surprised it is top 2.
I didn't give Paranoid Android a 10, but it really deserves the top.

#01 - Paranoid Android

Average Score - 9.179069767
Highest: 10 (madonnas, Muggwa, Supaspaz, Sound Check, Eric., Gui Blackout, Jdella11, alkralkra, Adz, YSL, lovecatt, Jameson Teqkilla, Red, jose168, rlj, Gossip_Boy, Stephen, mariska, RobynYoBank, RatedG2, True Skarlet, Thediscomonkey, frantic)
Lowest: 4 (potentbreakupsong)
"Paranoid Android" is the winner of this rate. It is Radiohead's most critically acclaimed song, and one of the most critically acclaimed songs of all time. It peaked at #3 in the UK, and had success in other countries. The song consists of many different sections (each one written by a different member), and is joined together as one, similar to other acclaimed songs such as "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "A Day in the Life."
"Paranoid Android" is my favorite Radiohed song. The very first time I heard it, I was blown away, the song has so much going on, yet its statement is crystal clear. It's weird to think a song this powerful was originally recorded as a silly/joke song. It's truly the deserving winner of this rate, and I'm so glad you guys agree with me. 10
