How is an album that's still selling between 3-6K a week underperforming (After 11/12 months!!) . She's still top 100 so you can't say she's underperformed until she actually stops selling 1/2k a week

Is Selena's next album going to be her first post disney album? If it is it'll be very interesting to see how she does. Selena has US album sales. I think she'll stay neutral wont increase or decrease. She's more focused on acting right now anyways.
If Miley comes back with a great single I'm sure she'll be able to smash. She is still the most popular WW. Her tours will still sell better too.
Demi is just starting to get more recognition. Her album sales are lackluster but she's starting to get more radio support and her singles are doing better. With X factor hopefully she'll gain more fans and it'll help launch her new era if she plays her cards right

And for the one who said Demi albums underporformed..we have to wait until the end of the era! If Unbroken ends selling 500k+, will not be underperfoming! How much sold the last Selena effort? 600/700k? not much bigger!

No. I call it underperdorming when it's an album that has only sold 365k after one year of release.

Some call it a flop but I'm being generous.

Demi however has a huge platform coming up and her career just seems to be taking off with 2 platinum singles from one album, you could say her single sales are solid, I think X Factor will increase those single/album and tour sales. On topic... Miley has also enlisted many hit making producers for the next album, as well as leaving Hollywood Records.

The difference, Unbroken sold 365k in a year. WTSGD reached that in like 4 months? And at the rate Unbroken is going and since Demi's going into another era after GYHAB, it'll probably never reach 500k.

If Can't Be Tamed actually got a second US single, maybe it would've pushed gold. HWR weren't behind the era at all, considering that they didn't fund a cent to the CBT music video and Miley had to pay for the entire thing with her own money.

Unbroken got 2 singles, with Selena getting 3 from their last respective eras, and their album sales are nothing to write home about. Let's keep it low on the shade.

Demi will have the most single success next era if Miley doesn't deliver hard.
Selena will have the most album success because she's consistent.
Miley will have the most tour success, no argument needed.
