Someone said...
"There are several songs on Survivor where she is the only songwriter on the credits. The producers gets credited as well though."
N what you said just proved my point. If the producer name is in the album credit he had hand in writing the song. just like Beys arrangements are part of writing, so his the producers beats. So maybe I should have said.. either you wrote/composed the song in its ENTIRETY or you did not.

And that's what the xx said. Beyoncé is this generations Michael Jackson. Why throw shade when you agreed with the topic.

Beyoncé is a better singer than Michael Jackson, and she can deliver the vocals much better than he could. Michael was better at dancing and putting on a show, however, when it comes to actual singing, Beyoncé holds over him by a considerable margin.

First, Beyonce is MILES UPON MILES better of a vocalist than Michael would ever dream of being.
Second, people seem to confuse legacy/impact with sheer ability. While nobody will ever reach his impact in performance there are a few people who can step toe to toe with him as an all-around performer, Beyonce being one of those people. Michael had stage presence and choreography with lipping vocals, much like Chris Brown.
People seem to get the notion that a legacy makes a legend untouchable. MJ, Madonna and many more all have things that artists of today do better than them. It doesnt change anything they've done at all.

When did Bey become so much of a better singer than MJ??? For a male, MJ is and has ALWAYS been regarded as a top notch singer. I personally think Bey is a VERY good singer (not as overhyped as some of her stans has her)... but she doesnt even receive the praise on the female side as he receives on the male side or in general.
I also think many of you seem to forget that MJ has been doing this at a professional level since he was like 7. MJ has done MAINLY live vocals for MOST of his career. He didnt start heavily lipping until his later years, by that time he was well in his 30s and had been performing for about 30years. So idk where you guys are getting this whole "he only lipped" bs from. MJs career goes waaayyy back even before Thriller.
Also there are some people who dont believe she is toe to toe with him as an all-around performer either. Does that make her any less great??? NO!!
