People always 'claims' she wrote the bulk of something... But credits state otherwise. When she starts writing, composing, arranging and producing all by herself, then let's talk about someone 'writing' the bulk of something.

What do you mean how dare they say that? It's an opinion. And a fair one. I've never really been a fan of Michael Jackson's performance skills. I don't find his voice that amazing. He's a tight dancer but none of his moves thrill me. Maybe because he's been so replicated he seems diluted to me.

Okay. If you think her biggest hit being Crazy in Love is a bad thing (I'd say she's had bigger though), that she's never done anything influential besides Single Ladies, and is nothing without her father then okay. You can think that but it won't change it from not being true. Just because she has had 1 album not perform up to her previous standards does not mean she is nothing without him. Why are we always so crazy about hits anyways. It should be about the music and if we have a preference that's fine, but discrediting someone because they didn't sell music catered to the masses is a bit much.

She did though. There are several songs on Survivor where she is the only songwriter on the credits. The producers gets credited as well though.

There's also 2 songs that she produced entirely by herself.

Either you wrote the song or you didn't. Producers don't automatically just take credit. Quincy Jones produced Thriller but yet I don't see his name on Billie Jean or Wanna be Starting Something (which MJ all himself, he also received co producer credits on the album too). So that's not an excuse

Yes they do, If you create the melody and the lyrics but producer adds the intrumental parts he gets credit
