This year my art teacher would always play this song and it always lodged itself into
my head, except I didn’t know what it was. I’d like to thank Ace for convincing me to
do this rate, or else I would never have some to appreciate Dirty Projectors as much
as I know do. So thank you so much. Anywho, this song is absolutely amazing, and
it totally deserves to be in the Top 2.

Ah, here we are finally at No. 1! Surprise it’s the xx! This song was actually the

This is definitely the song that was the winner. It also received the most tens; eleven.
The song itself was the third song off of xx, and it peaked at 34 on the U.K. Singles Chart.
Congratulations to Islands and the xx for winning the

In Conclusion. I would like to thank everyone so much for participating. We, in
the end, had 18 voters, including myself. And I am so proud of myself and all of
you for putting together a great rate. This was a really great time, and I appreciate
you guys not rioting when I went on vacation for a week. Thanks again.
Now, time for some shameless promo/plugs. The next rate that I will be running will
be This Was 2011; Alternative Edition (Wounded Rhymes vs. El Camino vs. Bon Iver
vs. Metals vs. Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming). That should start sometime this winter, so
stay tuned in.
Also, here’s a mix I made of all my favorite songs;
http://8tracks.com/atlases/atmospheres .
I would love love love if you guys would give it a listen. It’s essentially indie pop/indie rock/alternative.
It would mean a lot to me.
Until next time.
