Agreed!! I think her best chance is pop vocal album! She's gotten great press for her covers, Duets, national anthem, she's got the Cowboys song. All that will make her look good to the voters.

It's even harder now to be nominated since they did away with male/female categories. There's only 4 POP categories: Best Pop Solo Performance
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
Best Pop Vocal Album
Best Pop Instrumental Album.
And of course the 4 big ones that are open to all genres: Record of the Year

There's pretty much a 0% chance of TWIO or YLM or any of her non singles getting nominated. In order to be nominated, the songs have to be submitted by the label for consideration. The voters only pick one song for each category. So, if RCA is smart () they will only enter Stronger for consideration for everything. If they include Dark Side, or any of her other songs, it would risk splitting votes amongst voters and could result in her not getting enough votes for one song to get a nomination at all. And the only way Dark Side would see any kind of nomination is if Stronger isn't submitted at all, which is not happening. So, we're likely only going to see Stronger get nominated, if anything at all.

This. Stronger should be the only single that needs to be submitted not MKIA or DS. They'll just split votes and compared to WDKY they are just dust to voters. Almost no one know what DS/MKIA compared to WDKY.
Stronger is one of the biggest hits of the year, digitals, radio and even impact. The song has great message, sensible lyrics and slaying vocals.

I think there is some hope for Stronger in ROTY but I kind of doubt it. There have been so many big songs this year (like every year) that it's just so difficult. I'm 100% sure RCA will submit it, and it will receive votes, but I'm guessing not enough to get a nomination. Though the fact that it stands a chance is impressive for the queen.
Stronger may be the bigger hit but Dark Side is more grammy-worthy and less generic.
RCA have a tough decision, this year has been all about indie-artists so maybe DS would be a good bet because it's less well known compared to Stronger.
Although Stronger has the notoriety and the cultural impact with all the charities etc. Difficult decision. I think in the end they'll submit Stronger. We might win, I don't wanna get my hopes up though 'cause I don't wanna be disappointed, but I hope she wins
I agree that Dark Side is more grammy worthy as far as delivery and content, but I will ****ING KILL RCA if they even think of submitting DS over Stronger. Stronger is almost a sure bet at this point and based on the performance, sales, and the fact that it's the #3 most played song on Top 40 in 2012, they'd be absolutely idiotic not to submit that.
