The issue I have with wilmer though is that he only dates young girls. It would be different if it was just demi that was young. But I mean comeon. Mandy moore when she was a teen, Lindsey Lohan when she was a teen.

The age difference between Demi wouldn't be a big deal if it was just a one time thing. People fall in love and age doesn't matter but if a guy continually only goes out with much younger girl then there's obviously a hidden agenda. And the fact that Wilmer does not only seek out younger girls he also seeks out young girls with previous mental problems and issues. Girls like this which includes Demi are not only for sleazebags like Wilmer easier to control but they're also way more vulnerable and often very naive. And it's so obvious that Wilmer uses that considering he dated girls like that several times.

Anyway, on-topic: I agree that as long as there's a connection I don't care (that much) about age. Once it gets to a 50+ dating an 18-20 year old I do start to really get creeped out though.
