Because if not, her diminishing stanbase will be the only thing that supports her, & I don't want her going to average, because she's going to need that mega hit next era. She's fading but immediately after reading the nominee's, she's the first person they not only think of, but write an artice about....and she's not even a nominee.

Only her next album will tell if she has truly faded but in the end its only natural for her to not have the same impact as previous years, it happens to all artists with an spot in the industry.

I think Gaga would be more respected especially by the older folks if she took it easy on the gimmicks and eccentric stunts like meat dress, having fake blood burst out in a performance, hibernating in a egg as a ''vessel''.
Outside of her following, you would be surprised how many people think she has no talent in the general public. Its because her stunts overshadow her music sometimes

Gaga is the second most awarded female in MTV history and will be busy playing for hundreds of thousands of people when the VMAs are airing. Gaga's allowed to go one year without showing up.

I think this as well. She can either take advantage of the next era or flop miserably. The next era will definitely be her make or break era!

Diminishing? Lol. If her fanbase was diminishing, Lm.com would have flopped miserably and it's already gaining over 10,000 new users a day with a current user count of over 290,000.

The problem is not the fanbase, it's the public. She has to get them back on her side.
