Boop has a good point though. It's been proven a lot with Bad Romance and her prior videos/singles. But I guess I agree that the video probably shouldn't have been nominated. All the videos that were nominated are better than Y&I/MTN.

Yep. Whenever I think of MTN i'm always reminded of November-December's freeze period and constant chart checking It's a very nostalgic but dreadful feeling Still love the song but It's def changed my look on things a bit.
Just because it has a simple concept doesn't mean it's bad. It LOOKS nice, and even that had become an issue for Gaga.

This is also a good point. Neither Y&I or MTN had any hype. All the nominated videos have had recent or huge hype in their times. I wasn't surprised at Gaga getting snubbed even if the some of the nominees are utter crap.
What I always wondered .. is why some of you guys are still fans of Gaga? if you are such huge fans of pop stars looking pretty, singing generic music and walking around in music videos, maybe you should change your avatar to katy perry, buy teenage dream and be happy? why do you want Gaga to be one of them so badly? clearly she isn't

Let's say she looked hot during The Fame videos.
During The Fame Monster era she was not hot, she looked good but in a different way as you said (her style changed).
Then, during this era her videos were just hard to watch because they were a mess and she didn't look good at all.

The radio updates were okay in the beginning she was getting 1mill updates and then towards the end of November they slumbed to .5 and then late December .2 and soon they went to negatives. It looked like it was really gonna kick off, but it just slumped and died off tbh Remember how it stayed in the top 200 like most of November
