Yeah, I think streaming being included will make it harder to get to #1, meaning only the really biggest hits can get #1, and it'll stop songs that aren't very significant like Hold It Against Me, Crack a Bottle, etc. from getting there.

True, but I still think that #1 debuts are possible. It just depends on timing of release. Bieber was just unlucky as he was going up against the behemoth WAY (selling 300,000+ per week, over 130m AI, and 1 million OnDemand streams). 521,000 just wasn't enough for that circumstance
If he would have released Boyfriend at this point in the game, that #1 debut would have been his.

Maybe. However, it is doubtful that artists like Lady Gaga and Britney Spears will get number one hits again. Neither have enough singles longevity to make a climb to the top, nor do they have the crossover appeal to do so.
